Ever since I could squeak out a note, I can remember standing next to the piano singing old hymns as my father played. I was born in Racine, WI in 1975 and raised on a dairy farm in upstate NY. At the time, aside from chores, music was and still is to this day a very big part of my life. My father always played piano at church, while my mother and I sang in the church choir. After learning a major scale on trumpet, and battling my parents in practicing piano through eight years of lessons, I finally settled on voice as my primary instrument.

I received my bachelor’s in music performance from Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois in 1997. Shortly thereafter, I moved to Nashville, Tennessee to sing for the Acappella Company in a group known as the Vocal Union (www.vocalunion.com). After 10 years of pounding the pavement on weekends with VU, I took about 4 years off and in the process, found a solid Bible teaching church, Community Bible Church (www.cbcnashville.org) where the Lord introduced me to my beautiful wife, Kristen.

For the last 11 years and counting, I have worked for Brentwood-Benson Music Publishing, selling choral music resources to churches and bookstores throughout the country.  During this time, I’ve established some incredible relationships with people and have seen God work powerfully through the music we sell.

Most recently, the Lord has brought together four distinct voices from four distinct backgrounds all for one single purpose:  His Glory! He is the reason we sing and we pray you’ll be touched by the message through our music!  May the Lord Bless you!
